Join us for relaxed, friendly, informal and effective Business Networking over a cup of coffee/tea and scones at Create café (meeting room next to the café) in Wakefield.
Join us for the February networking event in 2019 in the north of England hosted by the Wakefield Council. This is a great chance to meet other like-minded entrepreneurs and professionals.
We aim to help you meet new connections, build new relationships, possibly new customers, peer support, potential suppliers, collaborations and partnerships. We will also have a guest speaker – for more details please see below enclosed agenda.

We will also look at how to use these changes to your advantage, implementing changes at your business to seize a competitive advantage over your competitors helping your business grow and succeed.
Pat Coffey, Business Development Manager, Wakefield Council
Pat joined the team in 2013 after 40 years in the commercial world managing and running department stores, shopping centres as well as working in the former Soviet Union opening and managing the first hard currency store in Moscow with a Soviet /Irish joint venture. Pat has run his own retail business and consultancy and joined Business Link in 2007 as a specialist start up advisor.
Pat’s passion is for businesses to seek help and grow. With the help of the City Region the Wakefield business portfolio have increased 3 times as fast as the rest of the region and the district release £1.9m of grant support last year alone.
Pat sits on the City Region grant panel and is responsible for the business support team to deliver high quality account management advice to growth businesses and inward investors.
