ENABLE: Wakefield Council’s initiative to use unspent levy to fund apprenticeships in the emergency services

ENABLE (Emergency Network for Apprenticeships in Blue Light Establishments) is a Wakefield Council initiative, which aims to take unspent apprenticeship levy and use it to fund apprenticeships at the most needed and respected services in the UK.

Eventually, this will lead to the emergency services helping each other by redistributing the unspent levy to where it is required most.

• South West Yorkshire NHS Trust
• Leeds & York Partnership NHS Trust

• Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust
• West Yorkshire Police
• South Yorkshire Police
• Humberside Police
• West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service
