Wakefield’s NGC Networks drive revenues to £6m

Wakefield based Business telecommunications company NGC Networks is celebrating double-digit turnover growth generating £6m in its latest financial results, a year-on-year uptick of 16%.

The growth was attributed to new client wins and follows the launch of a North West base earlier this year, which created 10 jobs on Bury Business Park in Greater Manchester.

NGC Networks currently employs 40 people but expects to increase that figure in the coming months. The firm is also expanding its main office at Calder Park, where it is taking extra space on the building’s first floor.

Director Dean Harrop, who runs the company alongside director Nikki Guest, said: “We provide companies with modern business telephony solutions that enable them to enhance communications, scale up, and take advantage of the latest productivity-boosting technology.

“Our growth has come across the network services and installations areas of the business. We are also seeing increased demand for our burgeoning business mobiles offering.”

He added: “As businesses look to invest in virtualised software and explore the benefits of cloud-based technology, NGC is well placed to deliver solutions that are cost effective and reliable.”

NGC Networks provides business telecommunications and internet connectivity services for businesses across the North, including sportswear giant Puma UK, bed maker Harrison Spinks and law firm Lupton Fawcett
