Significant interest in Strata’s Ossett development
Tue 14 Mar 2017
Over 30% of properties have been sold off-plan at Intrigue – the forthcoming 68-home development from homebuilder Strata.
Highlighting the demand for homes in the area, the development located off Holly Approach in Ossett, has already received 24 off-plan reservations.
Whilst the store for Intrigue and accompanying show homes are due to open at the end of May, those looking to register their interest ahead of this date are able to view properties at Strata’s other development Origin, which is based in Featherstone.
Intrigue showcases seven of Strata’s home collection; the two bedroom semi-detached Milan; three bedroom semi-detached Pareti and four bedroom semi-detached Rosas, along with the detached four bedroom Bologna, Paris, Venice and Oporto.
The development is based five miles west of Wakefield, 2.4 miles away from Dewsbury with the larger cities of Leeds and Huddersfield both a 13 mile commute, making it ideal for those looking to cut their daily commute.
With easy access to the A638, which links to the M1, a great selection of schools and a wide variety of attractions, Intrigue is perfect for families and first time buyers.
Andrew Weaver, Chief Executive of Strata, said: “The sheer volume of enquiries and reservations we have received about our planned homes in Ossett is evidence of the real need for housing in this part of Wakefield. We have been overwhelmed with the response we have received so far and have been extremely busy on site despite not having a show home and sales complex.
“We would encourage anyone who is interested in the development to register their interest as we envisage demand for properties to soar once our show homes open, as perspective buyers are able to see first-hand the high-quality finish that they can expect from a Strata home.”
The development is set to complete by October 2018 with the first residents expected to move in, in June 2017.
