"We always strive to deliver the very best quality, knowledge and experiences for our customers, and we want to ensure that same dedication flows through our marketing across all channels.

“Fantastic will help us promote our values, adapt to our evolving customer base and ensure our outward-facing messages reflect the vibrancy, quality, creativity and ambition that already exists behind the scenes.”

Gary Pattison, director of strategy and insight at Fantastic Media, added: “Blacker Hall Farm is a perfect example of a business with real ambition and a leadership team that understands where their strengths lie and where outside expertise can accelerate their success.

“We’re now firmly focused on driving Blacker Hall towards some ambitious growth targets.”

A new website is planned as part of the work, giving customers a place to find information and buy products online.

The current business, which opened in 1999, is a fourth-generation family business known for its butchery, bakery and fresh, locally sourced produce.

It operates as a food destination offering butchery, bakery, farm shop and dining facilities.

The Garthwaite family has been farming at Blacker Hall since 1901.
