The Prince of Wales Hospice unveils dynamic new website transforming access to local care

30 Mar 2026

The Prince of Wales Hospice has launched its brand-new website – a modern, accessible and engaging digital front door that makes it easier than ever for people to find the care, support and information they need.

The new site reflects a major step forward in the Hospice’s commitment to making compassionate care easier to understand and access.

With clearer navigation, warmer storytelling and simplified service information, the redesigned platform helps people quickly find the right support at the moment they need it most.

With more local people turning to online platforms for health and wellbeing information, the hospice wanted to ensure its digital presence was as welcoming and clear as its in‑person care.

The redevelopment was made possible thanks to funding from the Government’s Capital Improvements Grant in 2025, supporting the hospice’s ongoing commitment to improving access to high‑quality care.

Developed in direct response to the changing needs of patients, families and supporters, the website brings together everything from clinical services and referral guidance to patient stories, fundraising ideas and volunteering opportunities, all presented in a fresh, engaging way.

Sharon Batty, Director of Income Generation and Marketing, said: “This new website marks a major milestone in how we share our work with the community.

"It’s more than a redesign, it’s a clearer, more welcoming way for people to understand who we are, what we do and how we can support them.

"We want every visitor to feel informed, reassured and connected.”
