The Continental Taphouse opens this November At Tileyard North
The Continental Taphouse, a new, beer-led bar, will open it’s doors at Tileyard North on Thursday the 27th of November. The venue will feature an extensive lineup of exclusive European beers and real ales, complemented by a curated food offering, details of which are to be released soon.
This warm and inviting taphouse is the sister venue of The Distillery, and yet another venture for the husband and wife team, Victoria and Gary Ford.
“We are proud to be offering Wakefield something different,” said the bar owner, Victoria Ford, “our selection of beers are handpicked by us, in collaboration with Swinkles Family Brewery, and we are both excited to share these products with the local community.”
The taphouse will pour a rotating selection of beers sourced from across Europe, some of which are only featured in a handful of venues across the UK. Guests can also enjoy a selection of British hand pulls and catch a diverse lineup of events on the bar’s three 65-inch televisions.
“We are particularly excited about our beer flight offering,” added co-owner Gary, “we wanted to showcase the beers and reflect the artistry of our brewers; it’s all about flavour, exploration, and a little bit of adventure in every glass.”
With its unique concept, carefully curated drinks menu, and friendly, community-focused atmosphere, The Continental Taphouse is poised to become a vibrant new addition to Wakefield’s ever-evolving hospitality landscape.
