A specialist adult social care business has expanded using a seven-figure funding package supported by HSBC UK.

DHP Care has used HSBC UK funding to acquire a new branch for Prestige Nursing Ltd. The Wakefield-based site will enable DHP Care to provide services designed to help individuals live independently with homecare, healthcare and nurse staffing.

The seven-figure funding package from HSBC UK will also support the safeguarding of 60 jobs at the newly acquired branch. DHP Care estimates this expansion will increase turnover across its business to £10m.

“This support from HSBC UK allows us to open more opportunities to serve local communities, guided by our belief that everyone deserves comfort, care and a place to call home.”

Arti Patel, client manager at HSBC UK, added: “It’s fantastic to support the financial growth of a business, but at the same time also empower an organisation to make a real community difference.

“DHP Care are a prime example of what clear vision and commitment can deliver. We look forward to seeing the value this new branch will bring to Wakefield.”

DHP Care provides a range of adult social care services, primarily focusing on home-based support through its Prestige Nursing & Care.
