Production Park has secured its first major television project with ITV, after being chosen to host the semi-final and final of The Voice UK later this year.

The state-of-the-art studio complex near Wakefield will welcome Lifted Entertainment (ITV Studios) to record the climactic episodes of the popular singing competition in front of around 500 live audience members. The production will use Studio 005 for the set build, with Studio 001 supporting as a primary production area.

It marks the first time the iconic red chairs and celebrity coaches of The Voice UK will be in Yorkshire, highlighting the region’s growing role in high-end television production.
