Post Office reopening in South Kirkby
The Common Post Office in South Kirkby is to reopen, giving customers 75 hours a week of services.
The Post Office will reopen under new management at the same location as before – Costcutter at 5 Mill Lane – following its closure in 2023.
The Common Post Office is due to open on Tuesday, August 11 at 1pm.
Personal and business customers will be able to do their everyday banking.
Customers can post letters and parcels and do bill payments, and Post Office Travel Money Card services.
Post Office services will be available:
Monday – Friday: 7am – 9pm
Saturday: 9am – 2pm.
The Common Post Office will be one of our local style branches with a low-screened, open-plan Post Office service point carefully integrated into the retail counter.
The new branch aims to make it easier for people to visit a Post Office by extending the availability of Post Offices services in the area already at South Kirkby.
Jonathan Walker, Post Office Retail Change Lead, said: “We know how important a Post Office is to a community and we are delighted to be restoring service at the same location as before.”
