Kitchens retailer grows regional network by launching its latest showroom
German kitchen retailer, Prestons Kitchens, has confirmed the opening of a new showroom in Wakefield, its fifth in the north of England as part of its growth strategy.
After the business’s best year to date in 2025, the 8,000 sq ft showroom opened on Ings Road, Wakefield, representing a £250,000 investment and creating five new jobs.
It forms part of Prestons Kitchens’ wider growth strategy to strengthen its footprint in local markets in and around the M62 corridor.
Customers will can view eight fully operational displays showcasing the latest trends in styles, colours, finishes and kitchen design technology the company has to offer.
Founded in 2014, by managing director Mark Parker, Prestons Kitchens is a family-run business with sites in Huddersfield, Leeds, Preston and Stockport.
Parker was inspired to set up Prestons by his father, who was the largest importer of German kitchens into the UK for over 30 years.
