Farmer Copleys named finalist in three award categories
Farmer Copleys has been nominated for three regional awards.
The family-owned business is shortlisted in the Agri-Business, Large Retailers and E-Tailers, and Large Leisure and Tourism categories of the Yorkshire, Humberside and North East Family Business Awards 2026.
Heather Copley, CEO of Farmer Copleys, said the recognition reflected the efforts of everyone involved.
She said: “It’s a real honour to be named as a finalist in not just one, but three categories at the Family Business Awards 2026! We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved, and it’s all down to the hard work, passion and dedication of our amazing team.
"Although we’re a family-run business, we’ve always said thatbour team here at Farmer Copleys are part of our extended family, and this recognition is just as much theirs as it is ours.
“We couldn’t do what we do without them, so to be recognised alongside so many fantastic family businesses across the region really does mean the world to us.”
Sue Howorth, co-founder and director of The Family Business Community, which organises the awards, said the standard of entries had made judging particularly challenging.
She said: “The quality of this year’s entries has been exceptional, making the judges’ decisions particularly challenging. Every finalist should feel incredibly proud of what they have achieved.”
Dave Clarkson, co-director, added: “We are thrilled by the level of commitment and attention to detail shown by all the applicants. The strength and diversity of the entries have truly impressed us”
The winners will be announced at an awards celebration, on Friday, November 13.
