Doughnotts opens in Castleford - its first store in Yorkshire
The independent doughnut brand Doughnotts is bringing its handmade creations to Castleford this week – and there’s a tasty launch-day treat in store for shoppers.
Doughnut lovers are in for a treat as Doughnotts opens its newest store at Frasers Plus Designer Outlet Leeds on Friday, September 4, marking the brand’s first location in Yorkshire.
Located opposite M&S, Doughnotts will be giving away a free doughnut with the first 100 bought on launch day to celebrate its arrival to the outlet, giving shoppers the perfect excuse to get a first taste of the outlet’s newest addition.
Founded by Meg Scaddan and Wade Smith in Nottingham in 2015, Doughnotts was born in their family kitchen and is now a much-loved brand, with multiple locations across the Midlands and handmade creations delivered to customers nationwide.
Shoppers can expect Doughnotts’ signature handmade doughnuts as well as seasonal specials that change every two months, so there’ll always be something new to discover.
Meg and Wade, Directors at Doughnotts, said: ”Being part of Frasers Plus Designer Outlet Leeds gives us the opportunity to be in a destination where people are already in that mindset to treat themselves.
"It’s a great fit for the brand and a chance to introduce Doughnotts to a new audience.”
Darren Winter, Centre Director at Frasers Plus Designer Outlet Leeds, said: “Doughnotts’ incredible offering will give our visitors another great place to stop and enjoy a treat during their day with us.
"We’re especially honoured that Doughnotts has chosen us as the home of its first Yorkshire location. It’s a really exciting first for the outlet and we can’t wait for our shoppers to get a taste of what they have to offer.”
