Staff at a Castleford hair and beauty salon say they are ‘incredibly proud’ after being awarded the Platinum award for Best Local Salon in the UK.

The national industry awards were held in London and brought together more than 300 professionals from across the country.

Owner Zoe Gaitley said: “To bring home the top award in our category is something we’re incredibly proud of, especially as an independent local business.”

The salon has been part of the Castleford community for over 30 years and Zoe says they pride themselves on not just the services they offer, but also supporting local people, offering training opportunities and creating a welcoming space within the salon.
