The Wakefield Net Zero Partnership is really looking forward to delivering an event that will be fun, engaging, and informative; while helping to raise awareness of climate change and the positive actions we can all take for the environment.

The aim of the event is to bring local people together to explore climate change in a positive, accessible way. There will be lots to discover from nature and the environment to home retrofitting, active travel, energy efficiency, recycling, waste reduction and much more.

It’s a fun, relaxed and engaging event, designed especially for local residents and families, with plenty of ideas, activities and inspiration to take away.

They are keen to include a number of local green businesses at the event, for example local solar installers, retrofit providers and similar organisations. While spaces are limited, they would love to ensure some local businesses are represented.
