Roman Marches Back Into Trinity Walk

04 December 2014

Trinity Walk Shopping Centre in the heart of Wakefield city centre has welcomed back family-owned womenswear retailer Roman.

Roman originally moved into the centre’s Teall Way in 2013 as a temporary retailer, but moved out earlier this year (2014) to make way for Clarks. Now, the ladies fashion brand has returned to the centre, taking a 2,385 sq ft unit on the main Trinity Walk mall, occupying the unit vacated by La Senza when the company went into administration.

Ian Johnson, Creative Manager at Roman commented:

“We are delighted to be back in Trinity Walk in the new unit on the main mall just in time for the Christmas shopping. We now have a wider range of womanswear as well as shoes and handbags to offer our customers, so there is something for everyone for every occasion in the lead up to the festivities.”

Roman was originally established in Birmingham in 1957, and now has a strong network of stores across the whole of the UK. The company has developed a strong identity as a design led and fashion forward retailer to offer affordable, timeless clothing. Its products embody an ageless sophistication and style for the customers for any occasion. Most recently, Roman has launched a new range of shoes and handbags to compliment the collection and complete the ultimate womanly look.

The new Roman store is now located next to Jack & Jones, Select and near New Look and Clintons on the main mall leading up to Debenhams, along with many other fashion brands including H&M, Next, River Island as well as Clarks, WHSmith, The Entertainer and Argos. Trinity Walk also has a range of food and drinks offers from Caffe Nero, Pizza Express, Handmade Burger Co and The Chinese Buffet.
