Ribston, a newly launched property company that specialises in multi-let industrial estates, bought the park, will carry out the works after purchasing Ripley Close Industrial Park.

Part of Normanton Industrial Estate, the park is situated off Junction 31 of the M62 and is already home to tenants including, Solupak and Flue & Ducting Limited.

The estate, which comprises nine industrial units and totals over 43,000 sq ft, is to be modernised to create high quality industrial and warehouse accommodation ranging from 4,768 sq ft to 23,915 sq ft.

Gent Visick and Knight Frank are the joint marketing agents advising the landlord Ribston.

Iain McPhail, partner with Knight Frank in Leeds, commented: “Ripley Close is well placed in an established industrial location within a mile of the M62 and close to the heart of Yorkshire’s superb motorway network.

“We are receiving good early interest from local and regional occupiers and expect to see further activity on site once the refurbishment is underway.

Paul Mack, director at Gent Visick in Leeds, added: “We are delighted that Ripley Close has been acquired by Ribston and will be given a new lease of life with a high level of investment that will create a modern industrial park in a prime location”.

James Havery, Director of Ribston, also said: “We are pleased to have acquired Ripley Close so soon after raising equity for our fund.

“We believe that the estate has great potential to become a sought after and thriving industrial estate following a high specification refurbishment and focused marketing.”
