Wakefield Business Woman Invests in Makeover of East Ardsley Beauty Salon

After 6 years independently in the beauty industry as a mobile beauty therapist. Local businesses woman Catherine Heptinstall has invested in her own luxury salon, Mulberry House.

After purchasing the property with her husband in August 2016 Catherine set her sights on opening her own salon. With a blank canvas to work with both floors were very much open plan and in need of a makeover.

With a total investment of £50,000 the team has been able to give the building a full treatment and refurbished an old retail unit into a 2 floor beauty salon in the heart of East Ardsley

Because of this investment Catherine has also been able to expand her team and has created 3 new jobs, hiring qualified therapists boasting wealth of experience from the regions premium beauty salons.

Catherine Heptinstall, Business owner Mulberry House said;

 "This investment has been made specifically with a long term gradual growth in mind. We needed a property in an ideal location which we were not going to outgrow in 5 - 10 years, and this place fitted perfectly with our business plan objectives

 ‘’We have invested over 50k into the refurbishment with particular emphasis on luxurious treatment rooms and a bespoke pedicure Station"

 We have started with 3 new members of staff however plan to grow this steadily in the future. In 2017 we also plan to invest further in  expanding the business with our own luxurious "Pamper Suite" directly aimed at Hen pamper days and Corporate treats"
