BizEd Connected is back - Exhibition stand bookings now open!

This time last year, Wakefield First, Wakefield College and Copiserv teamed up to deliver an event that gave the Wakefield District businesses and schools the opportunity to build links and stronger connections.

We want to create an opportunity to generate real connections that result in long term and beneficial relationships. There are already some brilliant partnerships between local industry and schools, but we need more.

To address the skills gaps we face locally, we need to interact more and support each other- This won’t happen without our businesses and education providers working together.

BizEd Connected 2017 will help build these relationships!

This year BizEd will he held Thursday 4th May 2017 10am-6:30pm, at Wakefield Town Hall, the free to attend, the event will feature:

- Expert speakers

- Buffet Lunch

- 3D printer demonstrations throughout the day

- Exhibition for local businesses and providers

- Tours of the brand new Wakefield University Campus

- A tailored agenda to attract careers advisors and staff, business managers, governors and head teachers

Working across the public and private sector, we know businesses and schools want to speak to each other, but often don’t have the time or the contacts to build these relationships. Biz Ed connected was then created to create this platform. Last year’s event was a huge success. And feedback from businesses who exhibited on the day was very positive.
