Techmonkeys get into the swing with growth plans in Wakefield!

Local IT Support Company Techmonkeys are forecasting high growth potential as they move into larger premises and continue to recruit into their expanding team.

Techmonkeys, the Wakefield based IT support and solutions provider work with a range of customers locally and country wide to offer IT support solutions and cloud hosting services. They have been established for 6 years now and have recorded a significant increase in demand for the cloud computing aspect of the business as more firms are utilising cloud computing solutions.  To keep up to date with this demand in increase, and growing client list, Techmonkeys have bitten the “banana” and relocated to larger premises on Denby Dale Road. Already proactive members of the Wakefield Bondholder scheme, this recent move show another strong commitment to the district from this growing IT business.

Darren Mccabe, Director at Techmonkeys commented;

‘’More companies are embracing the need for cloud services; we are looking to follow that demand and grow with this as our customer database grows. We are currently a team of 6 and are looking to expand over the next few months, recruiting more staff and apprentices to continue to deliver a high level of customer service to new and existing customers and develop the business further.’’

Techmonkeys have also been heavily involved with local skills initiatives to support their recruitment plans; they have recently received a £1,000 grant for LEP Skills Service funding to train their current staff on the most up to date Microsoft server and desktop support. The company has hired 4 apprentices since they established and plan to increase this number over the New Year, helping to raise skills levels and aspirations within young people in the local area.
