Golden Triangle Go from Strength to Strength

26 October 2015

Golden Triangle Inventories, setup by local entrepreneurs; Dan Crosland and Stephen Dobbins has gone from strength to strength over the past 12 months.

With a rapidly expanding client base, Golden Triangle work alongside letting agents, chains of private landlords and now also work with national letting agents. From student properties to luxury apartments their innovative business continues to be a great success.

Sally-Anne, Director at Central Properties Leeds said:

“We have been very impressed with Golden Triangle. Stephen and Dan are professional, hardworking and thorough, they have produced detailed and thorough checkout reports and inventories on our property portfolio and coped with a huge volume of work on a very tight schedule during student end of tenancies. Their work ethic is refreshing and we wish them every success with their business.”

The business uses bespoke software to log and record accurate reports for landlords, agents and tenants during both the occupation and vacation of properties. Their software provides innovative and rapid solutions to what has become an increasingly time consuming practice in the property market.

Jon from Dwell Leeds added:

“We're a Letting Agent that understand the real importance of what GT do. Being able to outsource this time consuming work to GT helps us to concentrate on what we do best. Highly recommended to Landlords and Agents alike.”

Taking advantage of available funding through Wakefield Council’s Business Support Programme they were able to attend the Landlord & Lettings Show in Bolton on 13th and 14th May.

Speaking about the results of the show Dan Crosland explained:

“We achieved huge results from visiting this trade show. Our stand received a large footfall of visitors and we gained many strong leads whilst appearing at this event.”

As well as expanding their portfolio of properties they have gained a reputation throughout the industry which has brought them partnerships with other firms outside the ‘Golden Triangle’ of West and North Yorkshire.

“Developing relationships with other businesses across the country has given us access to areas of new business in which we had no presence.  We would definitely recommend that businesses take up the opportunity to attend trade shows. The initial cost has been easily covered by the work it has created and the connections we made.”

One of the outcomes of getting new business was the need to develop and redesign their website.

“We attended the Google Juice Bar that Wakefield first organised earlier in the year and we knew that a strong web presence and use of social media was an important part of moving our business forward. We offer a lot more than just property inventories and we wanted to build a strong online presence that reflects the diversity in which we offer.  Whether it is student hand-overs, pre check –outs from HMOs to luxury apartments we needed a responsive website that allowed our clients to access our services and a platform which could highlight the professional service we provide.”

With the growth and success rates Golden Triangle have achieved they plan to take on an addition to the team in the near future. Both Dan and Stephen are keen to help develop the skills and qualifications of motivated individuals from the local area.
