Funding available to businesses to provide a One Page Website

23 March 2015

Through the Wakefield Business Support Programme, RCP21 are seeking suppliers to provide a one page website for Small to Medium sized enterprises (SMEs) that currently do not have a website or have a low quality online presence.

Please find attached details of the requirement.

RCP21 are aware that a number of SMEs located on Business and Industrial Parks in the Wakefield District do not have a dedicated web presence, and those that do are often an entry into a general directory, rather than a website for their business.

Through the Wakefield Business Support Programme, RCP21 are able to support a limited number of SME’s, located on Business and Industrial Parks by providing them with a one page website and web address to help promote the company and its products and / or services. The website will be provided by a company chosen through an ERDF approved tender process. The website will also support the development of supply chain opportunities. This offer is subject to SMEs meeting the eligibility criteria and conditions outlined below.

The One Page websites will offer SMEs a choice of templates and designs and will provide the SME with the capability to upload their own text and images, link to social media and incorporate Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). Basic training will be provided on how to manage and update the website.

The website hosting costs for 12 months will be met by RCP21. The successful SME will need to meet the hosting and updating costs (if any) after the initial 12 month period.
