Play equipment designer and manufacturer Sutcliffe Play has strengthened its sales team with two appointments. The employee-owned company has promoted Andrew Love to Sales and Marketing Director. Andrew has worked in the play industry for over 10 years and he will oversee the company’s sales and marketing activities and the relationship with its key UK distributors.
Andrew brings with him a wealth of sales and technical engineering experience accrued from previous roles in different industries. After completing his engineering degree in the Fleet Air Arm he spent 15 years in the electronics industry specialising in the sales of precision, total factory automation solutions to blue chip companies throughout Europe and during which he achieved his Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies (DMS).
Andrew will play a key role in the development of Sutcliffe Play as one of the UK’s leading playground equipment manufacturers. He says: “I’m looking forward to helping Sutcliffe Play build on our reputation as innovative designers of child-centred play solutions and reinforcing our credentials as an expert in play.”
Martin Griffin, Managing Director at Sutcliffe Play says:
“Andrew is a real asset to the Sutcliffe Play team. He’s focused and motivated and we’re confident he will play a key role in the development and future success of Sutcliffe Play.”
Andrew is being joined by a new Area Sales Manager, Sandra O’Sullivan. Sandra will be taking over Andrew’s previous role and has over seven years’ experience in the play and education sectors.
“Sutcliffe Play has an excellent product range and I’m excited to be part of such a forward-thinking company. The satisfying part of the job for me is the legacy that we can help to create and I believe that with the knowledge and equipment available at Sutcliffe Play we’ll be able to create playgrounds that can help inspire children.”
“We’d like to welcome Sandra to the Sutcliffe Play team. She has a unique understanding of the sector making her the ideal candidate for the job.”
