£800,000 Goes To Upskill Business
Mon 26 Oct 2015
The LEP skills service has now committed over £800,000 to local businesses, enabling over 250 businesses to invest in training.
Some more unusual training requests have been supported through the skills service including parametric modelling and companies are even taking the opportunity to learn Russian, Swedish and Italian, with potential to expand their business overseas and tap into the export market.
Districts with the highest number of applications so far are Leeds, Kirklees, Wakefield and Bradford.
The highest number of successful applications are still coming from the Manufacturing and Engineering sector followed by Finance and Business and Creative and Digital.
