Major letting deal agreed at Tri-Link 140

A specialist business and consumer technologies distributor has agreed a deal for 142,338 sq ft of space at Tri-Link 140, an industrial and distribution unit located at Wakefield Europort.

Acting on behalf of a joint venture between Kier Property, Maple Grove and Yorvale, the Industrial team at CBRE in Leeds has secured a letting to CMS Distribution at Tri-Link. CBRE worked closely with Carter Towler and AWS in the marketing of this high-profile property.

CMS Distribution has leased the 142,338 sq ft distribution unit on a ten-year lease term. Tri-Link 140, which stands on a 5.9 acre site, is a new warehouse unit comprising 136,231 sq ft warehouse space, 6,107 sq ft office accommodation and 26 car parking spaces.

Mike Baugh, senior director in CBRE's industrial team in Leeds, said: "We are delighted to confirm this new letting at Tri-Link 140, it represents a significant deal for the Yorkshire market and is fantastic news for the Wakefield/Castleford area.  There are now very few new warehouse options available of this scale in the West Yorkshire area."

Tom Gilman managing director for Kier Property North, speaking on behalf of the joint venture, added: "The collective team has worked hard to achieve this letting and we are pleased to see activity in the industrial sector remain strong."
