Local Manufacturing group hires new COO

A Wakefield-based manufacturing and services group has unveiled a new chief operating officer, who will join the business next month (July).

High integrity manufacturing and services group Redhall has appointed Wayne Pearson as chief operating officer and will join the business on 17 July 2017.

Pearson has worked across the manufacturing industry for more than three decades and most recently undertook a number of interim assignments with manufacturing, engineering and industrial businesses advising them on the delivery of growth strategies.

Pearson will be responsible for the day to day management of the group's subsidiaries and will report directly to the company's chief executive, Phil Brierley.

Brierley said: "I am delighted to welcome Wayne Pearson to the Board.

"He has proven leadership and manufacturing expertise and I am confident that he will bring with him the skills to strengthen and support our businesses as we deliver our growth plans.

"Wayne's appointment follows our fundraising, which completes on 5 July 2017, and it marks another important step for Redhall, giving the Company greater capacity to develop and to deliver its strategy."
