Hotly-Tipped Band Skinny Living To Perform At The Ridings

An up and coming band from Wakefield who are set to support Jake Bugg at the Leeds first direct arena will be performing live at The Ridings Shopping Centre’s Craft Market and Music Fair on Sunday 2nd November.

Skinny Living, a four piece band made up of Ryan Johnston, Will Booth, Danny Hepworth and Rhys Anderton, will take to the stage as part of the centre’s themed fair from 12.00pm until 12.20pm. The hotly-tipped band will be entertaining crowds with an exclusive performance of their new single Mother Earth, as well as other tracks.

Talking of their excitement about performing in their hometown, lead singer of Skinny Living Ryan Johnson said:

“As a group of guys from Wakefield, we’re really looking forward to performing at our local shopping centre. We’re sure that the crowd will do us proud.”

Performing alongside the band will be the Wakefield Community Gospel Choir, the Ainsley Band, Red Dog County, Yard Wards, One Day After School, Tilly Shelley and JamieSaySmile providing a mix of musical genres to suit every visitor.

The music fair forms part of The Ridings monthly craft market. As well as experiencing a variety of music talent from across Yorkshire, shoppers will also be able to browse 25 craft stalls and pick up handmade, quality items.
