Chamber supports Global Entrepreneurship Week 2014

The Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce is supporting Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 17th – 23rd November.
Global Entrepreneurship Week is the world’s largest campaign to promote entrepreneurship. Each year, it plays a critical role in encouraging the next generation of entrepreneurs to consider starting up their own business.
To coincide with the week, the Chamber has announced a range of upcoming training events, to get Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield’s business people in the know on certain business topics.
The Chamber’s 60 Useful Minutes training events incorporate training and networking provided by Chamber members, open to all at just £5.00 to non-members and free for members to attend. Get rid of dead wood; managing our poor performers held by Howarths will take place on Thursday 20th November from 12:00 - 14:00 at The John Smith's Stadium, Huddersfield and will include a tour of the stadium and lunch.
Fellow member Sheards Accounting will present business accounting and tax tips on Tuesday 2nd December 08:30 - 10:00 at the Chamber’s Lockwood offices, and includes breakfast.
In addition to the training events there are also a number of free networking events coming up to get the local business community connected, no need to book just turn up!
MY Network Huddersfield will take place on 19th November at The Media Centre from 09:00, Last Friday Club will take place on Friday 28th November at Maggie’s Bar, Halifax from 12:30 these events are run in partnership with Barclays, Better Telecoms, CIM, Maggie’s Bar, Ramsdens Solicitors LLP and The Media Centre.
