Marketing workshops for Wakefield businesses
10.00am - 04.00pm
The Marketing Optimist, a Marketing consultancy based in Castleford, is offering free one hour marketing consultancy sessions to businesses based in the Wakefield area. The one-on-one sessions will be held at Unity Works in Wakefield on 23rd March and can be booked via the Marketing Optimist website
A recent report carried out by Lloyds Bank benchmarking the digital maturity of small businesses and charities in the UK found that in the Yorkshire and Humber region 68% of those questioned had invested nothing in digital skills and that 48% didn’t even have a website.
Following a year of turbulence for British businesses and the uncertainty of the Brexit process, companies need to be looking at how they can use the tools they have to hand to help promote their businesses to ensure that, when trading conditions return to some kind of normality, they will have survived and thrived.
Richard Michie, CEO and Owner of The Marketing Optimist said “I love talking to businesses about the plans, hopes and dreams they have. Then helping them translate those aspirations into marketing strategies which will gain them long term devoted customers. Too many businesses don’t feel they have the time, budget, or skills to market themselves and either don’t do any or delegate it to a junior member of the team. These sessions will give them the direction and encouragement to get their businesses moving the right way.”
Each consultation will last one hour and will cover any issue the businesses would like to discuss. It could be a whole marketing strategy, search engine optimisation, social media, or a particular project like email marketing. The consultations are free to book with no obligation to buy any further marketing services.
