Beginners' Guide to Marketing with Mark Sebright...

Are you flummoxed by Facebook, exasperated with email marketing or done in with data? Attend this short session to gain an understanding of some basic marketing frameworks and hands-on experience of some marketing tools and techniques.

This session provides an introduction to the key concepts of marketing including unique selling points, customer-centred service proposition and communication channels. It is suitable for those with some previous experience of marketing who are looking to refresh their knowledge as well as absolute beginners.

By the end of this session, delegates will have gained an understanding of the key concepts of marketing. They will understand the relevance of marketing to their organisation – or their role - and be ready to implement their learning into practice.

Mark Sebright will facilitate the workshop. Mark is a marketing professional with over 25 year’s industry experience. After a career in business journalism and public relations, he founded the specialist marketing communication agency, Imagen, building an award-winning marketing team that has regularly featured in the Yorkshire Post listing of the region’s top 20 marketing firms. Mark has led multiple marketing campaigns at regional, national and international level for large and smaller clients including start-up businesses and across multiple sectors including leisure and retail, tourism, manufacturing, business services, energy, transport and health. He has served as a senior lecturer in business marketing at Leeds Trinity University for the last seven years.

Where? This session will be delivered remotely through Microsoft Teams.
