Eastmoor Health Centre are currently offering 2 Business Administration Apprenticeships.
Working with a local surgery, helping the teams to do administration, receiving patients in to the surgery and answering incoming calls. Full training will be given, whilst working towards a L3 NVQ Business admin qualification.
Duties will include:
Working on reception by receiving incoming patients
Answering telephone calls, whilst dealing with the making of appointments or answering queries
Dealing with patient correspondence and referrals
Carry out any reasonable administrative task as requested by any member of the PHC team
This list is not exhaustive, and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by the manager which are relevant to your role within the company to meet the overall business needs.

Things to Consider: This wage is correct for NMW for apprentices which is currently £3.90 per hour.
The wage will be reviewed on a regular basis, dependent on the progression of the learner.

Access for Disabled patients is via automatic doors. Disabled toilets are also provided.
The Practice does not currently have an active Patient Participation Group. We welcome the views and suggestions given by our patients and are in the process of forming a Group. If you wish to join this group please contact the Practice Manager. The surgery operates a Zero Tolerance policy, physical and verbal abuse will not be tolerated in our practice, and anyone found being abusive to our staff will result in their removal from our patient list and possible criminal proceedings.
