Carclo Group's Financial Position Remains Strong

The US medical business has also recovered strongly and the group says its other operations are all performing well. The group's aerospace operations have not yet seen a significant increase in sales but are now experiencing an increased intake of orders.
Two-thirds of the group's sales come from the supply of fine tolerance, injection moulded plastic components, which are used in medical, optical and electronics products. One-third of sales come from the supply of specialised precision products to the premium automotive and aerospace industries.
Mr Brooksbank, Finance Director of Carclo said:
“The group is well placed to enjoy continued growth in medical diagnostics, LED optics and lighting as well as having exciting prospects at Conductive Inkjet Technology.”
CIT is generating commercial revenues and sales are expected to rise considerably in the second half as the new touch sensor products enter production.
At the beginning of this year Carclo raised £3.7M from a placing of shares to accelerate projects in its technology business.
